Job # 63997 - Sodexo is seeking a General Manager (I) of Dining Services fora Senior Living account in Amer ican Fork, Utah County, Utah! This isanAssisted LivingRetirementCommunity. The ideal will be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or enrolled and demonstrating active participation to complete in 12 months. Seeking bi-lingual candidates; the ability to communicate in Spanish will assist in managing this workforce.
This is a hands-on position where you will manage food production and service; moving from back of the house to front of the house with the addition of administrative and financial duties. Position manages; the daily operations of the kitchen, 10 employees in food service, the Client and Sodexo financial budgets, the food production process, some catered events, quality standards, automated; food, labor, and financial systems, the HACCP process, and customer service programs and enhancements.
Ideal Candidate Skills and Certification:
Some College / Trade School Certificate, CDM / Servsafe Certified
Strong leadership skills & culinary production background
Detailed knowledge of HACCP and Department of Health Regulations
Skills to manage just under 500K in financial volume
Ability to work collaboratively in a skilled nursing facility environment
Knowledge of Clinical & Culinary operations
Experience with modified & textured diets
A passion for a high level of customer service
Ability to mentor and develop employees
Skills to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills
You will need to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Working knowledge; Food Management Systems (FMS), Market Connections (MSC)
Excellent computer skills and report management experience
Work history of managing budgets, financials and financial reporting
Schedule will vary and may include some weekends & holidays based on events.

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
